A dental implant replaces a lost dental root. An artificial root provides the base for restoring a structure of a new tooth. Such a solution is least invasive, as it does not involve any reduction of adjacent teeth as opposed to classic bridges.

Step 1
Placement of a dental implant in ideal bone conditions is a simple and predictable procedure at our Center for Implantology and Dental Aesthetics. After considering the 3D computed tomography scans, the implantologist selects the appropriate diameter and length of the dental implant. It also assesses the bone bed for the implant, as well as the distance and the presence of important anatomical structures such as the inferior nerve socket, maxillary sinus or the nasal cavity. This is a very important stage of dental implant placement, which should be carried out by a trained person with experience and knowledge. In our Clinic, all such procedures and treatments are supervised by PhD, Dr. Marek Markiewicz, who has the title of expert in implantology.
Step 2
Healing screws aid in healing and shaping the soft tissue around the implant. They are used in order to obtain the best possible shape of the gums after implantation, and preceding the stage of placing the correct prosthetic crown.
Step 3
After taking the impression from the implant level, the prosthetic work is sent to the Markiewicz Clinic Lab, which operates on site. Depending on the angulation of the implanted implant, a prosthetic reconstruction is screwed or cemented on the implant connector. The next step is to fix the completed prosthetic reconstruction screwed to the implants in the patient's mouth. After receiving the prosthetic reconstruction, the doctor screws the implant connector to the implant. After assessing the passivity, tightness, aesthetics of the prosthetic work and obtaining the patient's approval, the work is fixed to the implant. The connector is screwed to the implant socket with a force of 30 Ncm. Then, with the use of cement, he places a prosthetic crown on the abutment.
Taking into account the risk of losing the adjacent teeth after grinding them under the bridge, the price of the implant is definitely lower than the price that the patient would have to spend on restoring the missing teeth, which is a common complication after removing bridges. The price of a dental implant depends on the patient's bone conditions and the implant system used. After the consultation visit, in which 3D digital diagnostics is performed, the patient receives a complete quote for implantological treatment.
